Assistant Accountant

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Seacroft area as they look to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing organisation that is big on development, training and progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial analysis and insights to include compiling accurate reports
  • Banking and cash flow management
  • Sales and purchasing transactions and costing
  • Ownership of customer direct debit collections
  • General ledger close & key financial controls
  • Management and statutory reports
  • Budgeting

Person Specification:

  • A team player who enjoys their work and thrives in a dynamic environment
  • Keen to learn but brings their own experience to the task in hand
  • The ability to communicate at all levels and across teams
  • A close eye for process streamlining and improvements
  • Ability to develop and execute own plans and effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines

Requirements:

  • A graduate with a relevant degree or 2 years' experience within a similar working role
  • Expert computing skills and an experienced user of computer systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting methods and techniques
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
