Catering Team Leader – Lincoln – ASAP Temp
Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Team Leader – Catering for an organisation in Lincoln. You will need to work Monday – Friday 37.5. hours per week (occasional on call weekends)
The role will involve:
- Managing a team of catering staff including chefs, cooks and kitchen staff
- Creating and developing menus that meet the diverse dietary requirements of patients, staff, and visitors
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes, and quality assurance
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to H&S regulations and best practices
- Manage kitchen expenses and control costs while maintaining high-quality food offerings
- Monitor stock levels, anticipate needs, and place orders for food supplies and kitchen equipment to maintain smooth operations
The ideal candidate will have:
- City and Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or NVQ equivalent
- Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate
- Comprehensive knowledge of allergens, HACCAP and COSH
- Previous cooking experience
