The role has only become available because the previous Field Service Engineer has been promoted into a senior managerial role. Our client has never hired externally for senior positions in their 15+ years of operating! Job Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for looking after the client's depot and each vehicle which comes in for repair. Our client has a lot of business from companies which use electric buses. The successful candidate will be allotted vehicles coming in for repairs, you'll be entrusted to diagnose the issue and decide the best course of action, whether fixing that day or ordering parts. The client provides on-site training and development for the role and will support any courses you want to take to improve your own skills alongside their training.
Experience & Qualifications required:
- 1-2 years LGV, HGV or PCV repair experience
- Body, mechanical and electrical experience
- Electrical repair experience
