Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Essex based client to recruit for a Food Buyer.
Main duties will include:
- Negotiation of prices
- Ensuring product is arriving as and when it should do.
- Working closely with other areas of the business (sales) to ensure compete customer satisfaction.
- Meeting with and spending time with customers to ensure any purchasing issues are resolved.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Previous experience at Junior/Buyer level within the Food industry.
- Have strong negotiation experience
- Have good IT experience including the use of Excel
