4Recruitment Services are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager for a new therapeutic SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) provision for our client based in Edgware.
This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a dedicated clinical team and a highly experienced manager to create a nurturing and supportive home for children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement therapeutic strategies.
- Provide leadership and support to the staff team.
- Ensure the highest standards of care and support for the children.
- Foster a safe, loving, and positive environment.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in a similar role within SEMH provisions.
- Passion for making a difference in children's lives.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to creating a therapeutic and supportive home environment.
- A minimum of Level 3 in children's and young people, or equivalent
- Recent experience in a children's residential care home setting (in the last 3 years)
- Experience in an SEMH / EBD setting
The successful applicant must be willing to work shifts, this is necessary until the house is at full capacity.
