T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Welder to join our Client on a permanent basis in Shepshed.
Due to expansion of the business, this is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a small friendly team that have some fantastic growth plans.

Welder Job Details;
- £14.50 per hour to start with the opportunity of an increase after a successful probationary period is passed
- Paid overtime available once trained at a premium rate of £21.75 per hour
- Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:45pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
- 40 hour working week

Welder Role & Responsibilities include;
- Laser welding the products
- Completing ad hoc welding
- Completing some mechanical assembly
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Fabrication work on the products
- Quality checking the products
- Relaying build issues to the production manger
- Any other duties as required
Welder Person Specification;
- Welding experience is essential - previous experience using a Laser Welder is preferred but not essential.
- Certificate or evidence of Welding training is required.
- Knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Co-ordination of hand and eye movements is necessary to produce a good quality product
- A good team player
- Strong attention to detail
