The successful applicant will have a freight forwarding ops background with rate negotiation skills/ knowledge and excellent general commercial awareness

- Development and maintenance of overseas relationships
- Negotiating best rates & service from suppliers
- Overseeing of Commercial Team members
- Fulfilment of KPI's as set out by the Company
- Reporting structure as set out by the Company
- Training of current and new staff with reviews where appropriate
- Management of Commercial Team enquiries
- Progression of Department
- Liaising with and managing sales leads to Sales Department
- Identifying quality and potential of enquiries and filtering as required
- Arranging regular team meetings to discuss current & future strategies
- Reasonable understanding of HR protocol
- Excellent knowledge of Company & Industry regulations
- Analyse competition and implement better practice
- Some export air operational requirement
