A highly regarded Legal 500 firm is looking to hire a solicitor to join its successful Employment team. You will be an ambitious employment solicitor with 3+ years' PQE, who has solid experience in non-contentious respondent matters.
You will take over an existing caseload which includes local SMEs and larger PLCs alongside individuals up to director level. The ideal candidate will be confident in attending networking and marketing events and will ideally have an interest in social media and writing articles, as the team takes great pride in its presence online.
Key responsibilities:
- You will advise clients ranging from SMEs, Multinational and global corporations on a range of aspects relating to employment law
- You will support with providing advice on potential claims and settlement agreements
- Support clients on contentious matters, including managing tribunal claims for both employers and employees
- Advise on disciplinaries and grievances
- Handling restrictive covenant breaches and day to day HR issues
- Support clients with contracts, handbooks, policies and procedure, and advising in respect of TUPE
