The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is recruiting for an Electro Mechanical Support Engineer for a manufacturer, based in Sudbury, Suffolk.
This role will provide manufacturing, commissioning, investigation, maintenance and repair support for the companies range of products. This will include tasks on-site and customer locations both in the UK and Worldwide.
Role will involve:
- To build, test and release company manufactured ground support equipment to approved standards
- Confidence and ability to travel to customer sites and provide fault finding and repair
services
- Carryout commissioning of company's Group equipment as required at customer locations
- Able to provide training for the Operation & Maintenance of equipment at customer sites
both in UK & abroad.
- Liaise with Designers to ensure accurate interpretation of technical drawings regarding design
and production equipment
- Communicate closely with Production coordinator regarding all project work and related
matters
- Liaise with Buying department to confirm quantities of supplies ordered and to progress orders
- Resolve queries and problems to best of ability before escalating up to next level. Act as a
'trouble-shooter' to minimise errors and provide workable solutions
- Assist with other projects / duties as determined by the Production Department
- Responsible for adhering to health and safety rules and procedures
- Conducting assigned tasks in a controlled and safe manner, paying particular respect to
colleagues and equipment
- Present a positive attitude at all times, with a resilient, adaptable approach to problems
Personal Skills / Attributes
- Possess good mechanical fitting experience.
- Qualified Electrician a bonus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Able to lift safe loads without assistance
- Record of technical competence within the Company or from previous experience
- Advanced mechanical / engineering knowledge

- Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and worldwide
