Accounts Payable Analyst, Software Development Company (3 Month FTC to go Perm) - £30,000 - £33,000, London

This is a 3 Month Contract (with the opportunity of a permanent position) for a Accounts Payable Analyst to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding SAAS business, backed by private equity and a strong track record of growth and acquisitions.

They are seeking a talented and motivated AP experienced candidate to join the team and contribute to their continued success whilst working very closely to tight deadlines.

This role will require a strong ability to adapt to chance but offer an excellent opportunity for growth within the company. The role will manage a number of accounts and report directly to the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable Process Management: Oversee and manage the procure to pay process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Payment Execution: Prepare and execute payment runs accurately and on time.
  • Supplier Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements and manage any supplier queries efficiently.
  • Purchase Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the Purchase Ledger, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Month End: Assist with month-end closing activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the wider Accounting & Finance team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of ad-hoc financial reports as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and in Netsuite an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
