Role Summary

Our large Share Plans Operations team is made up of a number of sub teams that carry our different elements of our services, with some teams focused on specific share plans and others providing shared services.

As our Employee Share Plan Services continues to service over 150 Save As You Earn Clients, we are looking for someone to join our Allotment Team who are responsible for the closure and fulfilment of our maturity and early exercises. The role offers the chance to learn both valuable business skills whilst also developing specialist knowledge of Share Plans, alongside broader share market and regulatory knowledge.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of the share plan.
  • Acquire familiarity with the main operating system (Sirius) and be prepared to use other systems as needed.
  • Making system updates on a regular basis to satisfy share allotments.
  • Working as part of a team to manage key activities like purchases, sales, and settlement of clients Share Save maturities.
  • Monitoring inbox and replying to internal and external queries.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to manage tasks.
  • Awareness of key regulations, including but not limited to, COBS (Code of Business Sourcebook) and CASS (Customer Assets).

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

  • Experience of working well in a team is essential.
  • Strong English language and literacy skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (a good working knowledge of excel an advantage).
  • Experience of working with stakeholders.
  • Previous experience of working in an office or customer facing environment beneficial.
  • Enthusiastic and committed to meeting client requirements.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Working to tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Experience in a customer service environment would be beneficial.
