At the heart of CrossReach's operations is Charis House, our head office located in Edinburgh. As a central hub, Charis House coordinates and supports our extensive range of social care services across Scotland. Our dedicated team at Charis House works diligently to uphold CrossReach's mission of delivering exceptional care and support to individuals and communities in need. Joining us at Charis House means becoming part of a compassionate and dynamic organisation committed to making a positive impact in people's lives.

We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring timely recovery of debts owed to the organisation. You will need to have at least 12 months of business-to-business credit control experience and a solid understanding of credit management principles. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, excellent communication and record-keeping abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

As Credit Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that debts owed to CrossReach are recovered promptly. This involves monitoring aged debts, providing training and support to administrators in operational services, and ensuring adherence to the Credit Control policy. You will need to demonstrate tact and diplomacy, as well as the ability to build relationships with our operational services and key third-party customers, including the legal team of the Church of Scotland. While this role can be challenging, you will have the support of the wider finance team to help you quickly integrate and make an impact from day one. If you are tenacious, resilient, and eager to contribute to a vital aspect of our organisation, we invite you to apply for this rewarding role.

Please note, we are not accepting applications from agencies.

Today we are one of the largest social care providers in Scotland, with experience across a broad range of services. We are still growing, learning, and improving, thanks to the incredible people we have the privilege to support, and all those who support us. We are part of the Church of Scotland and aim to provide social care services and specialist resources in Christ's name to further the caring work of the Church to people in challenging circumstances.

As a Christian organisation, you will need to have a respect for all aspects of Christian worship.

You will need to undertake necessary vetting checks and apply for a Disclosure Scotland Basic check.
