My client is looking for a qualified English Lawyer with a minimum of 4 years PQE in the Financial Services Industry, with specific experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including GDPR and outsourcing provisions.
Please note that this is a part-time role, with 3 days a week expected to be in their office (based near St Paul's).
Responsibilities:
- The individual requires the ability to review and draft contractual provisions along with the confidence to directly negotiate (including possible pre-litigation dispute resolution) with vendors.
- The individual would be a member of the Legal & Compliance Department but would be required to work closely with a team of procurement specialists within the Finance Department and become proficient in using their in-house platform.
- The contracts primarily relate to products and services typically required by a large international investment and commercial banking operation ranging from one-off product purchases to high value long term IT software supply contracts.
