Insurance Handler

My well-established client is seeking a forward-thinking Insurance Handler to join a supportive team and provide a pivotal role in the customer experience.
Duties for this Insurance Handler role include:
- Log insurance claims in accordance policies and procedures.
- Handle policy cancellations due to sales or lapses.
- Prepare new business quotes and initiate policies.
- Maintain and update client and third-party client lists to ensure all information is accurate, including for marketing purposes.
- Handle all matters in the absence of the manager.
- Meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Address all insurance queries for all clients, property managers, etc.
- Building strong relationships with both customers and internal colleagues.
- Following company policies and always acting with integrity.
- General ad hoc administrative duties as and when required.
To be considered for this role, you must have/be:
- Previous experience working within the insurance industry
- Property insurance experience (desirable not essential)
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Able to build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers/ clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate with knowledge across all MS Software including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage time and prioritise own workload
