Senior Director (Customer Platforms - Salesforce)

A highly prosperous business providing B2B software solutions is looking for a Senior Director to join and improve their Customer Platforms department. You'll be a driven leader who prioritises digitalisation. You'll have created and led a high-performing engineering team within an enterprise firm and led a customer platforms strategy at scale. We are specifically looking for individuals who have run a Salesforce function previously . Experience with Salesforce change is also desirable.
Concerning the Role:
You will be leading our client's digital strategy and directing their company's future growth as the Senior Director of Customer Platforms. You will be able to do the following:
- Develop and put into action a digital strategy that supports our clients' long-term growth goals and keeps them ahead of the competition.
- Direct the Customer Platforms function's strategic direction to meet important goals and spur innovation throughout the company.
- Act as a catalyst for change by putting automation first, revolutionising company operations and improving client and employee experiences.
- Oversee the transition to a self-service, automated, and efficient operating model. Work with cross-functional managers to implement the digital plan into action.
- Find and use innovative tools and methods to improve interactions with coworkers and customers while establishing benchmarks for the sector.
- Have a say in how decisions are made at the highest levels by interacting with executive executives about negotiations, risk management, financial control, and strategic planning.
- Manage customer platforms and the experience cycle, incorporating budget control, risk mitigation, and prioritisation to achieve objectives.
Key requirements:
- Experience with running a Salesforce function.
- At least five years in a comparable position with track record of success in technology-driven customer experience delivery and digital transformation.
- Proven track record of managing and spearheading enterprise engineering operations while demonstrating outstanding team leadership abilities.
- Capacity to work together and successfully persuade CxO leaders, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Extensive familiarity with Salesforce to promote platform excellence.
- Outstanding knowledge of client platforms in the areas of customer success, marketing technology, and sales, together with a sharp eye for technical solutions and business procedures.
- Experienced in managing teams of around 30 and budgets of up to 10 million.
