Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in Cost Management:

Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in preparing and maintaining project budgets.

Assist in cost estimation, cost planning, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Conduct cost analysis for project work, ensuring value for money is achieved.

Tendering and Procurement:
-
Assist in the preparation of tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities.

Help evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing.

Contract Administration:

Assist in the management and administration of construction contracts.
-
Prepare and process interim and final payments for contractors and subcontractors.

Site Visits and Inspections:
-
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is progressing as per contract specifications.

Assist in measuring and valuing the work done on-site.

Communication and Collaboration:
-
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Assist in preparing regular reports and updates for management and clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Some experience in a similar role or relevant internship experience is preferred.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
