Permanent position - Immediate start available
Salary to £32,448 (£16.00) p/hr, & Overtime at £24.00 per hour - time & a half.
Good hours available - Mid-day finish on a Friday.
Location: Cambourne - St. Neots area - Own transport required due to location.
Free on-site car parking.
We are seeking a proactive Control Panel Wirer / Electrical Engineer to join this thriving, established manufacturer of special purpose process machinery located in the Cambourne area on the border of Cambridge and Bedfordshire.
Responsibilities:
- Building control panels according to wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical codes.
- Wiring and connecting control panels to power sources, machinery, and equipment.
- Testing control panels to ensure proper functioning and compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues in control panels.
- Collaborating with engineers and other team members to design and improve control panel systems.
- Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Beneficial additional skills and experience:
- Hands-on electrical wiring experience in an industrial setting, with a bonus if accompanied by mechanical skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, as well as analysing written and numerical data related to electrical systems.
- Demonstrated capability to work autonomously and collaboratively, effectively contributing to team efforts.
Salary:
- To £32,448 (£16.00) p/hr, & Overtime at £24.00 per hour - time & a half.
- Hours**:** 39 per week, Mid-day finish on a Friday. Good hours available
