Search Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a well-established company in Hull to recruit a Payroll Manager for a full-time, permanent position. As Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for the company's employees. This includes overseeing all payroll operations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and liaising closely with HR and Finance teams to maintain accurate employee records. You will also be the key point of contact for payroll-related queries, managing year-end processes, and implementing improvements to streamline payroll activities. Additionally, you will handle a variety of payroll-related reporting duties and maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

To excel in this role, you will need a strong background in payroll management, excellent knowledge of UK payroll legislation, and an eye for detail. You should be comfortable using payroll software and be able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A relevant payroll qualification (CIPP or similar) is highly desirable, but not essential. You should also be able to effectively manage multiple priorities and communicate with staff at all levels of the business.
