Multi Skilled Engineer
I am currently working with a CDMO based in Birkenhead. Due to continuous company growth, a Multi Skilled Engineer is required to provide support with all aspects of the business. Initially this will be to support with daily duties, such as repairs and maintenance to equipment, commissioning and validation on analytical equipment and manufacturing lines, support with commission of clean rooms etc.
Responsibilities for Multi Skilled Engineer
- Provide support and review the current actions for reactive and planned maintenance activities, both facilities and equipment.
- Carry out fault findings and repairs for all aspects of the business.
- Refurbishment of equipment and parts, ability to identify when a replacement is needed.
- Management of contractors and external suppliers, for equipment installation and facility developments- EG Infrastructure builds.
- Provide continuous support with engineering processes and look to develop these.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure the most efficient and compliant process is being followed.
- In this role you will are required to be flexible to assist the business needs- EG Production has stopped due to a repair out of hours, the expectation is to still complete this and you will gain time back in lieu.
- Carry out Route cause analysis to provide continuous improvement for engineering processes.
Requirements for the Multi Skilled Engineer
- Hold an Apprenticeship in engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working within a regulated environment- Pharmaceutical will be an advantage, but Medical Device, Food or API industries could also work.
- 3-5 years experience working withing Production Engineering.
- Understanding of different regulatory bodies within the pharmaceutical industry.
