Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Administrator
- Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Handle income tax and corporation tax computations and returns
- Manage VAT returns and assist with HMRC tax enquiries and investigations
- Develop cash flows and budget plans for clients
- Perform general office tasks such as meeting/greeting clients, filing, scanning, and email correspondence
Experience, Skills, and Attributes Required for the Accounts Administrator
- AAT level 2 and above
- Proven experience in an accounts function
- Familiarity with Xero and QuickBooks is beneficial, but training will be provided.
- MS Word and Excel.
- A personable and friendly team player who can also work independently
- Comfortable communicating with clients over the phone, very occasionally in person
