Accounts Receivable and Payables Manager - West London
£64,000 - £67,000 pa + 14-18% bonus per year + impressive corporate benefits package

Essentials:
Technical capability across both areas of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable from a Corporate environment - Self-sufficiency is essential.
- Experience in driving change, managing processes and ownership of function with 5 direct reports within AP/AR
- With a new systems upgrade, significant systems experience within a scaling up business whilst maintain BAU will be hugely advantageous - SAP or Oracle will be highly advantageous
You will be responsible for maintaining effective systems of credit management to limit risk, reduce overdue debt and ensure speedy resolution of queries. To contribute to the sales / operations management team by determining credit strategy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities for the successful AR and AP Manager
- Hands-on management of the team, to motivate, coach and develop the team
- To implement, monitor and follow up on KPI's across both AR and AP functions to ensure that both teams minimise aging on their respective ledgers
- Ensure decision making on order release is consistent and compliant with internal guidelines
- Implementation and maintenance of a set of comprehensive credit risk policies, procedures and controls
- Oversee month end procedures to ensure that all statements/debt letters are issued on time and accurately
- Oversee / review all insolvency and legal action
- Optimise net working capital cycle
- Monthly forecasting of KPIs AR and AP ledgers
- Forecast ownership of revenue cash inflow / outflow and analysis of actual cash inflow vs forecast
- Review integrity of Customer Master data and ensure timely credit assessment of all customers
Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the team by setting priorities aligned to game game-plan objectives
- Ensure timely performance reviews and development plans are in place for each member in line with HR guidelines
- Develop team capability to deliver improved support to the business and look to streamline processes where possible
- Foster a continuous improvement mindset
- Ensure optimal team structure, enabling delivery against changing business needs
Change Management:
- Lead projects to drive process efficiency across both ledgers
- Support company-wide initiatives which impact processes within AP & AR
Experience Required for the successful AR and AP Manager:
- Proven and substantial experience in an AR/AP leadership within luxury brand / FMCG / Manufacturing / Retail
- In-depth knowledge of Excel as well as AP and AR procedures
- Proven track record improving collections and DSO
- Familiarity in all aspects of debt recovery including litigation
- Excellent communication skills
- Corporate environment and strict deadline within a fast-paced environment
- Innovative problem solver and facilitator of change
- Cross functional stakeholder management
