We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our secondary school in Wakefield on a full-time basis from December 2024 until the end of the academic year. You'll have the opportunity to work with students across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love for English and supporting their journey toward success.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE in English or a closely related subject.
- Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that align with the national curriculum for KS3 and KS4 students.
- Encourage and support students to develop critical reading, writing, and analytically skills.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to help each student reach their potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
