Are you an internal communications professional ready to take on a new challenge? I am seeking an Internal Communications Specialist to support the Head of Internal Communication in designing and delivering internal communication engagement frameworks.

You will actively support internal communication activities through various channels and optimize these for maximum impact. Additionally, as the Internal Communications Specialist you will provide internal communication support and advice across the organization.

Key Responsibilities for the Internal Communications Specialist:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Internal Communications and Group People Officer to ensure all internal communication activities align with the three-year Group people plan.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver internal campaigns from content creation to design and measurement.
  • Support internal communication activities related to strategic initiatives, including a brand refresh and centenary activation.
  • Draft and oversee the publication of communications, including email bulletins, colleague presentations, and intranet content.
  • Develop and manage a calendar of events and promotional activities.
  • Seek out news stories and case studies to reinforce our purpose narrative.

Key skills for the Internal Communications Specialist:

  • Exemplary writing skills to capture the heart of the story.
  • Proven background in communications with experience in supporting campaign development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and Viva Engage.
  • Excellent timeline and deadline management.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills.
