IT Systems Engineer – Crossgar – Permanent – c£35,000 doe
REED Technology are delighted to partner with an excellent IT Support organisation who due to continued growth and expansion they are seeking to add an additional IT system engineer too their team.
The core business is as an MSP for the SMB market, with a product suite built around Microsoft 365 and Datto Kaseya, but we have sections of the business that handle Enterprise and Public sector clients, with enterprise-grade solutions to match, touching on technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Security Operations, and BCDR.
The successful candidate will possess excellent M365 skills, preferably qualifications, and who has a good, broad knowledge across common areas of Managed Server Provider IT:
- Helpdesk
- Backup
- Security / Antivirus
- Networks
Essential criteria
- Microsoft certified administrator in Microsoft 365 or Azure.
- CCNA, DCNA or similar experience - good degree of experience in TCP/IP networking and a solid understanding of DNS.
- Good understanding of VLANs.
- Experience in a second line support role
- Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools
- Significant experience configuring and supporting cloud-based systems.
