Job Description:
They are seeking a motivated and skilled Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join their award-winning Public Children Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with the management of a diverse range of Public Children Law cases.
Responsibilities include drafting documents, instructing counsel/medical experts, liaising with clients, attending court, and providing general legal support to the fee earner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing a varied range of Public Children Law cases.
- Draft legal documents and correspondence.
- Instruct counsel/medical experts as necessary.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, providing updates and support.
- Attend court proceedings and provide support to the legal team.
- Provide general legal support and assistance to the fee earner.
Requirements:
- Practical experience working in family law is preferred, but other legal experience will be considered.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to providing excellent client service.
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
