This client is looking to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner to a high functioning team based out of their South Durham office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate that thrives in a business partnering role and has a mind for the intricacies and challenges that come with finance within the education space.
The successful candidate will receive a salary of £42,000 - £48,000 (DOE), a generous pension contribution along with wellbeing and development initiatives. They are currently operating on a hybrid working policy with 2 days working from home along with a flexibility around the working day.
The Role:
- Support with timely budget preparation, forecasting and monitoring
- Support the production of accurate, timely monthly management information
- Lead, manage and influence your team to deliver KPI's and business results
- Be switched on to the financial developments across the Educational Sector
- Ensure accurate financial records are maintained
- Aid in the development of multi-year financial planning and monitoring, cash-flow management and the recording of fixed assets
The Person:
- You will be a qualified Accountant (CCAB/CIMA)
- Experience working within the education sector is essential
- Proven experience is preparing and presenting financial information
- Experience of producing budgets and year-end accounting
