Responsibilities of the Electrical / Electronics Design and Support Engineer:
- Design and development of electrical components for high-power systems (PCB, analogue/digital circuitry, power supplies, DCDC converters, etc)
- Researching, devising and recommending solutions to technical problems
- Testing and development support along with ensuring all relevant electrical safety standards and electromagnetic compatibility regulations are met
- Generation of necessary documentation, including Wiring Diagrams and build instructions.
Requirements of the Electrical / Electronics Design and Support Engineer:
- A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Recent and relevant experience in the development of analogue and digital electronics
- Excellent knowledge of high-power electronic systems and knowledge/experience of developing high voltage components such as switch-mode power supplies, DCDC converters, inverters, etc. will be highly beneficial
- Electrical component design and use of CAD software for wiring diagram generation
- Outstanding communications skills and confidence to present to internal and external stakeholders.
Salary: circa £45k - £55k
