Financial Controller

Wax Lyrical is based in the beautiful Lake District and manufacture, onsite, the most amazing home fragrance products and we are looking for a Financial Controller to join the team!
You will be responsible for supporting company profitability and performance and will work with the management team onsite and the wider Group to produce timely and accurate financial information.
Some of your responsibilities will be to:
- Produce accurate, timely and relevant management information to include weekly KPI reports, monthly management accounts, weekly and monthly sales/margin analyses
- Conduct reviews with budget holders and evaluate spend against sales performance
- Manage the finance team
- Manage the audit process and liaise directly with auditors
- Control the fixed asset system, ensure capital projects are monitored and reviewed post completion
- Manage cash forecast submissions
- Management of monitoring inventory and reporting
- Oversee the company royalty obligations
- Processing and reporting VAT across various tax authorities
- Ensure understanding of export and import compliance requirements
You will need to be CIMA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. This position is hybrid and will require a minimum of 3 days per week worked onsite in Lindal.
