French Teacher Key Responsibilities:
As a French Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality French language instruction to secondary school children across various proficiency levels. Your primary duties include developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum, utilising a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation. You will continuously assess the children in different ways, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
In addition, you will be expected to manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and conducive learning atmosphere. Collaboration with colleagues to create cross-curricular activities and contribute to the wider school community are also key aspects of the role. Maintaining up-to-date records of students' performance, attending parent evenings, and participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with language teaching methodologies are essential.
