A prominent communications company in the West Midlands is seeking a skilled Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to join their team on a 12month FTC . This role offers a hybrid working model, requiring 2-3 days in the office.

The successful candidate will become an integral part of a small, dynamic ER team, dedicated to delivering high-quality ER services across the UK and Europe. The role includes:

  • Employee Relations Case Management: Proactively support and advise Line Managers on ER employment matters, including sickness absence, performance management, and more.
  • Collaboration with People Business Partners: Work closely with People Business Partners to provide timely, accurate advice and support.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including People Business Partners, Line Managers, and the broader People Team.
  • Risk Management: Identify and escalate high-risk issues to the Senior ER Manager and key stakeholders as needed.
  • Documentation and Data Management: Ensure accurate documentation, maintain trackers, and contribute to data analysis and reporting as required.
  • Training Facilitation: Provide and coordinate technical training for Line Managers to enhance their ER capabilities.
  • Confidentiality Maintenance: Uphold a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of ER work.
  • Customer-Centric Support: Understand and respond to the needs of internal customers while contributing to the continuous improvement of the ER team and services.
