Life as a Senior I.T Trainer at CEF (City Electrical Factors):

As a Senior I.T Trainer you will be responsible for delivering training to the organisation on existing business platforms through various training methodologies such as face-to-face, video conferencing, recorded demonstrations and documentation. This is to ensure our colleagues are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to maximize the potential of our systems. Also, you will work with the I.T Training Manager and the wider team to develop the strategy for the Training Department.

You will have a strong background in I.T. training, experience in developing training strategies, and a solid understanding of project management principles to come into the newly established role and help shape the department.

You will be an integral part of the CEF IT Training team as we evolve our technology platforms over the coming years. You will contribute to business continuity programs to ensure the transition is both seamless and beneficial to the organisation whilst helping foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the company through documentation and successful training delivery.

Your Objectives:

  • Develop and Conduct Training Programs: Create and deliver comprehensive training sessions on various I.T. systems and technologies for employees at all levels, ensuring they acquire necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate on Content Creation: Work with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to develop engaging and effective training materials that align with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Assess and Address Training Needs: Regularly assess training needs and identify skill gaps within the organisation, using this information to inform the development and implementation of targeted training strategies and initiatives.
  • Evaluate and Improve Programs: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes and meet evolving needs.
  • Stay Updated with Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in I.T. systems and training methodologies, incorporating new insights and techniques to enhance the overall training experience.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience as an I.T System Trainer or a similar role with strong working knowledge of I.T systems, applications and technologies.
  • Familiarity with Project Management principles and practices
  • You will have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to create and maintain strong relationships with colleagues at all levels in the business
  • You will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Passionate, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams through presentations.
  • Expertise in developing and delivering training programs effectively.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.

Location:

  • You will be required to travel extensively to CEF locations throughout the EMEA region. The remainder of the time will be remote working
