Senior Design Engineer
Our client is seeking a Design Engineering Manager to work within the Public Sector in a Central Government Department. This is a superb opportunity for someone wanting to work within the Nuclear Environment which is highly regulated. Longevity guaranteed keeping you in work for the next 18 months.
As a Senior Design Engineer you will need to lead packages of work, coming with experience and knowledge to lead others and to work autonomously. Monitoring and assessing competence of Design Engineers in relevant discipline area.
Essential:
- Experience as a Senior Design Engineer.
- Experience of structural engineering.
- A full understanding of relevant Engineering Standards.
- Experience working with pressure equipment.
- Good stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in the Nuclear sector.
- Experience of Design Change Notices (DCN).
- Previous experience dealing with suppliers to get parts manufactured.
- Experience in seismic design engineering.
- Ideally, hold active SC Clearance.
