My client is seeking a Transport customer service administrator to join their family run transport business base in Ipswich.

As a Transport Customer Services Administrator, you will be the linchpin of our customer service operations, ensuring seamless communication between our transport teams and clients. Your primary responsibilities will include handling customer inquiries, coordinating transport schedules, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Coordinate and schedule transport services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Maintain and update customer records and transport schedules.
  • Liaise with drivers and logistics teams to resolve any service issues.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on service performance and customer feedback.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in customer service or administrative roles, preferably within the transport or logistics sector.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and customer service software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
