Start Date: January 2025 (1 week handover in December)
End Date: July 2025 (possibility to extend)
Year Group: KS1 (some KS2)
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant or Teacher who is able to teach small-group and occasional whole-class lessons for a fantastic school in Ealing. They are a two-form entry inclusive and progressive school with excellent facilities housed in a modern building including large well-equipped classrooms, a library, ICT suite, and an extensive outdoor area including a Forest School, pond area, a large playing field and a wide range of playground equipment for the children. The salary will be negotiable based on experience and qualifications. There is possibility for advancement.
About the Role:
- Teach small groups various subject areas in KS1 and sometimes KS2
- Occasionally be able to cover whole classes if needed.
- Lead interventions as needed to promote individual progress.
- Create engaging learning resources to foster academic development.
- Support students who may have SEN needs.
Requirements:
- HLTA or relevant teaching qualification.
- Excellent communications skills both spoken and written English.
- 2+ years minimum experience working as an HLTA or teacher including whole class teaching.
- Interested in a 2-term placement initially (Jan - July 2025) with a view to extending to the Autumn term 2025 and then possibly a permanent role directly with the school
- A Bachelor's degree is ideal, but not essential.
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
