Your new role
A school in Birkenhead requires a Year 3 Teaching Assistant. Duties will include:
- Support the class teacher in the classroom, prepare resources and teaching materials and ensure that the children in the class have access to the curriculum.
- Supporting pupils & preparing individual resources for pupils who need them.
- Working closely with the class teacher, planning lessons and activities and assessing progress.
What you'll need to succeed
- Have a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or Education related degree
- Have at least three months experience working with children in an education setting, particularly within the KS2 age range.
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound knowledge of KS2 Curriculum
