Our client an award winning, well known brand independent Estate Agent, who offer a broad spectrum of Property Services including the Sale, Letting and Management of residential property, are looking for an organised, self-motivated residential Property Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a property management team in their busy Hoddesdon office where they have a great working environment and always offer the highest level of customer service. They use the latest property software systems to ensure efficiency and they pride themselves on their innovative approach to marketing with their catchy branding and comprehensive advertising across all forms of media.

The Property Manager is a vital link with the Lettings team, essential to the continued success and growth of the portfolio, ensuring tenancies are sustained and properties maintained. The ideal candidate must have previous property management experience and have a proven track record of problem solving with excellent customer service skills.

You will be working with one other Property Manager, in a fast paced environment so speed and accuracy is key, as well as being completely up to date with current legislation.

You will need a full UK driving licence, and use of your own car for inspections.

Salary package and benefits of this Property Manager role include:

  • £27,000 to £35,000 DOE and ARLA qualification
  • Commission paid for booking in works with contractors
  • Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm
  • Award winning independent Estate Agent
  • Support with ARLA qualification

Main responsibilities for this Property Manager role include:

  • Managing your own portfolio of residential properties
  • Assisting in overall management duties
  • Building a strong working relationship with both landlords and tenants
  • Arranging maintenance quotes and repairs
  • Checking on rent payments
  • Negotiating tenancy renewals
  • Ensuring all legal compliance issues are met
  • Booking end of tenancy checkouts
  • Dealing with deposit returns and any deductions at end of tenancy
  • Arranging gas safety records ensuring 100% compliance

Essential skills for this Property Manager role include:

  • Knowledge of current legislation and current Property Management experience
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work well in a team dealing with any issues efficiently
  • Impeccable customer service skills
  • Good time management and excellent organisational skills
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and own your own car
