Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Rotherham area as they look to recruit an Accounts Assistant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Reporting to the Financial Controller this is a varied role where the successful candidate will be required to support the finance team with transactional finance duties.
Responsibilities:
- Daily customer invoicing
- Daily bank postings
- Posting of supplier invoices
- Set up of new customers / suppliers
- Support the month end process.
- Assistance with the annual audit
- Resolving customer / supplier payment queries
- Credit Card / Expenses postings
- Day to day support / cover of the finance function
Person specification:
- Ideally AAT qualified or study towards AAT qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills
- Problem solving skills
