HR Business Partner - UK & Ireland

Ashley Kate are working with a leading global company with a strong presence in the EMEA region. As they continue to grow and expand, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR professional to join the team as the HR Business Partner, operating across the UK and Ireland.

With their head office in Dudley you will be able to undertake a hybrid approach to working, as well as being flexible with travel across all sites.

Reporting to the Global HR Director, you will play a critical role in supporting functions across the UK and Ireland region. Your primary responsibility will be to partner with various business units and regional teams, providing strategic HR support and guidance in alignment with the company's overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Business Partnership: Act as a trusted HR advisor to business leaders and managers within the UK and Ireland regions, providing expert guidance on various HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational design.

Employee Relations: Handle complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide coaching to managers to ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.

Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment efforts within the region, ensuring alignment with local market needs and assisting in the selection process for critical roles.

Performance Management: Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and talent development plans, to drive a high-performance culture.

Learning and Development: Identify training needs within the region and partner with the L&D team to deliver targeted development programs that enhance employees' skills and capabilities.

HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations across countries, keeping abreast of any changes and making necessary updates to HR policies and procedures.

Workforce Planning: Collaborate with regional stakeholders on workforce planning and talent forecasting to ensure the organization always has the right talent in the right roles.

Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives and programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention across the region.

HR Reporting and Analytics: Utilise HR data to generate insights, analyse trends, and recommend actionable strategies to enhance HR practices and support business objectives.

Change Management: Support the implementation of organizational changes, providing change management expertise to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of new initiatives.

HR Business Partner - About you:

  • Ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably within an the UK and Ireland scope.
  • Deep knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and cultural norms across these regions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling complex employee relations issues and driving positive outcomes.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage HR data for informed decision-making.
