This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling aspects of the purchase ledger within a team.

Description

  • Processing invoices and credit notes on the purchase ledger.
  • Reconciling supplier statements to the ledger.
  • Handling and resolving any invoice queries.
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing ones.
  • Preparing payments for suppliers.
  • Assisting with month-end reporting and analysis.
  • Supporting other members of the finance team as required.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of financial information.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

  • Previous experience within an accounts function.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
