Description
- Processing invoices and credit notes on the purchase ledger.
- Reconciling supplier statements to the ledger.
- Handling and resolving any invoice queries.
- Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing ones.
- Preparing payments for suppliers.
- Assisting with month-end reporting and analysis.
- Supporting other members of the finance team as required.
- Maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
- Previous experience within an accounts function.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
