Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity starting in September? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a SEN teacher to work across KS1 and KS2 in a reputable SEN school located in the vibrant Barking and Dagenham area.

Role Overview:

As a SEN teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to our students across KS1 and KS2. With small class sizes of 2-4 children per class, you will have the opportunity to provide personalized support and attention to each student. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of our pupils.
  • Assessing student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborating with support staff and professionals to create effective learning plans.
  • Providing a supportive and nurturing classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
  • Encouraging pupil participation, self-expression, and independence.
  • Promoting positive behavior management techniques and fostering a sense of responsibility among students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with SEN needs, preferably across KS1 and KS2.
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of children with SEN.
