Role Overview:
As a SEN teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to our students across KS1 and KS2. With small class sizes of 2-4 children per class, you will have the opportunity to provide personalized support and attention to each student. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of our pupils.
- Assessing student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborating with support staff and professionals to create effective learning plans.
- Providing a supportive and nurturing classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
- Encouraging pupil participation, self-expression, and independence.
- Promoting positive behavior management techniques and fostering a sense of responsibility among students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with SEN needs, preferably across KS1 and KS2.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for making a difference in the lives of children with SEN.
