Pay: £23.23 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week (Office-based)

What You'll Do:

As our Programme Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to connect high-quality speakers with clients across various sectors! Your responsibilities will include:

Client Engagement

  • Proactively generate leads and secure bookings for speakers in corporate, nonprofit, academic, and government sectors.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with event planners, talent buyers, and corporate decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Maintain an organised CRM pipeline; track interactions and forecast sales.
  • Craft compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Oversee client liaison for bookings and speaking engagement requests.

Academic Engagement with ASB

  • Research and secure top-tier speakers for our ASB.
  • Prepare engaging speaker summaries for new ASB members.
  • Manage speaker engagements, including requests and price negotiations.

Media and Communications

  • Oversee the production of digital promotional materials and manage social media accounts.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills through drafting website text, press releases, and social media content.
  • Develop eye-catching print and online marketing materials for speaker promotion.
  • Create engaging copy for ASB content on speakers and topics.
  • Present information to departmental committees regarding clients and project activities.
  • Prepare and implement the ASB marketing plan.
  • Innovatively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Build the external reputation of ASB and monitor industry trends for new opportunities.

Management and Teamwork

  • Take initiative to evaluate and update working practises.
  • organise meetings and liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Work independently on marketing and communication strategies for business development.
  • Follow policies and procedures to support new initiatives.

Data Management

  • Maintain data assets to record client and academic engagement.
  • Highlight industry sectors with frequent requests for speaking engagements.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Marketing and communication experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
