Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a company in Halifax who are looking for a Finance Administrator for a full-time, office based position. This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract and are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. They are looking for someone who is hands on and can hit the ground running.

Location: Halifax
Salary: £23k - £25K FTE

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Purchase ledger all aspects of purchase ledger, receiving, controlling processing and payment runs
  • Bank reconciliation – posting of entries, chasing any queries
  • Weekly Sheets – posting of Weekly Sales sheets
  • Sales Ledger – preparing weekly debt analysis, chasing sites on old debts
  • Any ad hoc duties at an appropriate level

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Good working knowledge of Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger duties
  • Willingness to get stuck in
  • Sage experience
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
