Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about working with children and committed to fostering a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment. If you are an experienced professional with a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare and a background in early years settings, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote child development.
  • Support the daily routine and care of children in our nursery.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and well-being.
  • Adhere to the nursery's policies and procedures, including health and safety and safeguarding practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Essential: Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification.
  • Proven experience in an early years setting, either in a school or private day nursery.
  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to their care and development.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
