Site Services Engineer

Our client, a well established and talented Manufacturing site based in Plymouth are looking for a Site Services Engineer to maintain the factory and site services to the appropriate standards, ensuring compliance with all site audits.

Main Duties:

  • Inspect areas and plan repairs and improvements.
  • Complete planned maintenance tasks as issued, documenting all findings.
  • Respond to reactive site services issues.
  • Complete simple alterations to electrical circuits and plumbing systems.
  • Drive maintenance and improvements in all factory and external areas.
  • Plan tasks and liaise with Engineering Manager and Stores Controller to ensure that suitable materials are available.
  • Respond to audit findings to ensure that actions are completed promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Apprentice trained in a building trade or equivalent with an associated qualification.
  • BS7671:2018 IET wiring regulations beneficial.
  • Legionella operator/responsible person training beneficial.
  • Should be competent in plumbing, carpentry, painting, basic electrical and building works.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Able to identify and resolve issues promptly.

Hours of work will be as follows: Hours of work - Thursday/Friday/Saturday 0600-1800 & every other Sunday 0700-1500
