Service Charge Accountant. OUR CLIENT are a specialist UK wide property investment and development company. They offer a stable and flexible working environment which has resulted in them having very loyal employees.
THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES for the Service Charge Accountant will include:
Service charge accounts duties:
- Preparing year-end service charge accounts for an allocated portfolio.
- Performing service charge reconciliations.
- Working with the Property / Asset Managers to upload service charge budgets.
- Reconciling balancing charges.
- Liaising with Accounts Receivable team to issue balancing charges to tenants.
- Responsible for sending out the budget reports.
Purchase ledger duties:
- Coding, batching and processing purchase ledger invoices.
- Preparing payment runs.
- Ensuring the invoices have been authorised before payment.
THE PERSON and SKILLS REQUIREMENTS for the Service Charge Accountant will have:
- Ideally for AAT qualified, studier but will consider someone QBE.
- Experience of a property management system will be helpful.
- Must have Excel experience.
- Ability to do both service charge accounts and purchase ledger work.
- Strong communication skills.
