The Financial Accounting & Reporting Partner will play a crucial role within the Inventory and Revenue department, focusing on cost of goods sold and revenue reporting for a large life science organisation based in Slough.

Description

  • Reporting into the Finance Director, this role will be responsible for managing the day to day of finance in relation to revenue, inventory, COGS, and distribution
  • Preparation of month end accounts, computation of annual standard costs, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and meeting audit and year end statutory accounting requirements
  • The Financial Accounting & Reporting Partner ensures that Revenue & COGs are recognised accurately in accordance with IFRS and internal management reporting guidelines
  • Additionally, this role collaborates directly with partner companies and distributors, as well as business partners with our stakeholders.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Profile

A successful Financial Accounting & Reporting Partner- Revenue & Inventory should have:

  • Professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.
  • Proven experience a in similar role
  • Proficient knowledge of IFRS and SOX
  • Advanced level in MS Office packages, including Power BI
  • Experience in partnering outside of a finance department.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
  • Excellent communication and a keen eye for detail
  • Proactive and inquisitive work approach

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary range of £65000 to £75000 per annum. (Dependent on years of experience within the areas outlined)
