ICF – Commissioning Manager
Duration: 6 months initially with likely extensions
Rate: £500 per day via Umbrella Inside IR35
Working Arrangements: Working From Home + 1 day per week at Kettering and other days as required
Hours: 37 hours
Location: Northamptonshire
Our client is looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to join them for then next six months initially.
You will be working on behalf of our client to manage commissioning arrangements with a Children's Trust who deliver early help and social care services to children, young people and their families in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Contract management of a range of service delivery and support services contracts to ensure compliance with contractual arrangements and consistent performance of the delivery of services to children and young people
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders
- Lead a range of thematic projects from inception through to delivery
Skills and Experience:
- Experienced in stakeholder and relationship management with excellent relationship building skills
- Preparing agendas, papers, and progressing actions for contract management and governance meetings at a senior level
- Able to hold different parties accountable through action tracking and programme management
- Able to take forward a range of task and finish projects and programmes of work from inception to delivery and completion
- Experienced in working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent emotional intelligence: Being able to work and talk confidently. Being able to read the room and work accordingly
- Ideally needs to have a breath of experience within Children's Services
- Strong Children's Services commissioning experience and good awareness of the commissioning cycle
- Strong experience with contract management
