Finance Assistant - Remote
Salary: £24,000
Location: Warrington (Remote working)
Sector: Charity/Non for Profit
Job Purpose To administer and maintain the systems, processes and paperwork generated within the Finance team across the group companies.
Key Accountabilities Finance Support:
- Sales Ledger invoice processing for the group
- Purchase Ledger and expenses support for the group
- Ensuring all invoice documentation / backup then filed accordingly onto the server
- Emailing sales invoices to external customers
- Liaising with internal staff on any queries relating to Sales / purchase invoice processing
- All records relating to sales and purchase ledger are up to date and accurate
Knowledge Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a team
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
- Previous proven track record of an administration role, with the ability to track and communicate team activities
- Attention to detail ensuring all information received is correct for processing
- Flexible approach to work required and the ability to work towards deadlines
- Good general IT skills including excel and Outlook
Desirable characteristics
- Understanding and proven track record of Business Operations
- Previous understanding and knowledge of Sage 200
