Customer Service Executive

Our client in the Uxbridge area is looking for a Customer Service Advisor with a strong commercial mindset to enhance customer relationships and uphold our high standards of service. This role is office-based and offers a dynamic work environment where your contributions are valued and rewarded.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Perform informal and formal needs assessments for each customer, recommending appropriate products.
  • Develop and maintain a rapport with customers, ensuring a friendly and professional service.
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance to represent the company positively.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster positive working relationships within the sales and customer service team.
  • Accurately record customer information and sales orders digitally or in written form.
  • Manage customer accounts, including conducting mailshots and handling inquiries.
  • Stay informed about new products and updates to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Handle daily outbound calls and upselling to existing customers.
  • Process orders and follow up on sample requests using phone and email.
  • Operate the Live Chat System to assist online customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in food packaging is beneficial but not essential.
  • Proficiency in managing customer relationships and meeting sales targets.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Comfortable making minor decisions without direct supervision.
