This Successful travel organisation are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager their team. This role will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote their Holidays.

With the support of an internal sales team, a graphic designer and copy writer the Marketing Manager will develop a range of Marketing Campaigns from traditional direct marketing to digital and email marketing activity to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy Development:

  • Create a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with their business goals, incorporating CRM (Customer Relationship Management) principles. Leverage customer data to personalise marketing efforts and enhance customer retention.
  • Develop targeted campaigns for different customer segments, emphasising the unique value of our cruises.

Direct Mail Campaigns:

  • Collaborate with their in-house graphic design artist to create compelling direct mailings. These should highlight the luxury experience of their holidays and encourage bookings.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track the effectiveness of direct mail campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

Digital Marketing:

  • Oversee our digital marketing strategy, including managing relationships with our digital marketing agency and website developers.
  • Optimize our website for SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) to improve organic search visibility. Monitor keyword rankings, analyse website traffic, and implement SEO best practices.
  • Explore content marketing opportunities, such as blog posts, videos, and social media content, to engage our audience and drive traffic to our website.

Email Marketing:

  • Review our email marketing process and propose potential alternatives or developments.
  • Segment our email list based on customer preferences and behaviour. Craft personalised email campaigns that resonate with different segments.

Social Media Management:

  • Generate engaging social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.). Highlight the unique experiences their holidays offer.
  • Monitor social media analytics and adjust strategies based on performance data.

Sales Support:

  • Work closely with our Sales team, providing them with the necessary support. Attend trade shows (3-4 per year) to network and promote our holidays.
  • Collaborate with Sales to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Ideal Candidate:

A background in consumer marketing, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry.

Comfortable working in a small but closely-knit team environment.

Strong expertise in CRM, content marketing, and SEO.
